Job Description :
- We are seeking a highly experienced Mainframe Architect to lead the design planning and implementation of enterprise level mainframe systems
- This role involves providing strategic direction ensuring system scalability and security and integrating mainframe infrastructure with modern technologies
Key Responsibilities :
Design and implement robust scalable and secure mainframe architecturesCreate technical architectural designs and blueprints for mainframe systemsProvide technical leadership and strategic direction for mainframe related projectsEnsure mainframe systems meet business requirements performance standards and compliance regulationsIntegrate mainframe systems with distributed platforms and cloud environmentsLead modernization initiatives and legacy system transformationOptimize system performance and resource utilizationMaintain technical documentation and operational proceduresMentor and guide mainframe development and operations teamsCoordinate with vendors and suppliers for hardware software procurement and maintenanceStay updated with emerging technologies and incorporate them into mainframe strategiesTechnical Requirements :

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field8 years of experience in mainframe technologies with at least 3 years in an architectural roleExpertise in COBOL JCL CICS DB2 IMS and z OSStrong understanding of mainframe infrastructure including LPARs HMC and specialty engines zIIPs zAAPsExperience with performance tuning capacity planning and security protocolsFamiliarity with DevOps practices and CI CD pipelines in mainframe environmentsExcellent analytical problem solving and communication skillsPreferred Skills : Technology->
