Rungta International Skills University — a NAAC ‘A’-graded, innovation-driven institution — is looking for a visionary and results-oriented professional to lead its Career Development Cell (CDC). The Director will be responsible for driving strategic industry engagement, student employability, placement operations, and professional skill development initiatives across all University programs.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement a comprehensive placement and training strategy aligned with institutional goals and industry needs.
- Design long-term plans for career development, internships, and global employability enhancement.
- Establish benchmarks to track placement outcomes and continuous improvement.
Industry Engagement & Partnerships
Build and sustain partnerships with leading corporates, startups, and government organisations.Create Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and industry tie-ups for campus recruitment, live projects, and collaborative research.Represent the University at industry forums, summits, and job fairs to strengthen corporate relations.Placement Operations
Oversee the entire recruitment process, from employer outreach to final placements.Plan and execute campus drives, internship programs, and pre-placement activities.Monitor placement data and ensure timely reporting and compliance with quality standards.Training & Student Development
Design and deliver programs in soft skills, aptitude, communication, and technical training.Collaborate with academic departments to embed employability and future skills into the curriculum.Introduce mentorship programs, mock interviews, and assessment systems for continuous student readiness.Team Leadership
Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary placement and training team.Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and performance excellence.Qualifications & Experience
Master’s Degree (MBA, Education, or related field preferred).Minimum 15 years of experience in Training & Placement / Career Services / Corporate Relations, with 5+ years in a leadership role.Proven record of achieving high placement outcomes and building strong corporate networks.Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and strategic planning skills.Remuneration
