Job Summary :
- SAP Pune DC is hiring a skilled SAP Basis Senior Consultant to manage and guide a team of 10–15 L1 & L2
- consultants across shifts. The role involves end-to-end SAP Basis administration, team leadership, and
- operational excellence in a 24x7 environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead and manage shift operations for a team of 10–15 SAP Basis consultantsDeliver SAP Basis support across S / 4HANA, Business Suite, EWM, and associated landscapesPerform system monitoring, performance tuning, transport management (ChaRM / CTMS)Handle data growth analysis, security updates, deletion / partitioning, system refreshes, andupgradesManage SAP HANA, including performance optimization and troubleshooting across ERP, BW,BW4HANA
Drive incident and change management in line with ITIL practicesCreate and maintain shift rosters, ensure task allocation and productivity improvementCollaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure planning, system sizing, HA / DRstrategies
Maintain system documentation, support IT audits, and ensure complianceProvide RCA, support patching, upgrades, and kernel / database maintenanceTrain junior consultants and ensure knowledge sharing within the teamTechnical Skills :
Expertise in SAP Basis (ABAP + Java Stack), FRUN, Cloud ALM, Solution ManagerOS : Unix / Linux / Windows; DB : HANA, ASE, Oracle, DB2, MaxDBStrong hands-on with SAP installations, refreshes, upgrades, and patchesPerformance monitoring (CPU, memory, I / O), SAP system assessmentsUnderstanding of Unicode conversions, system copies, and user managementMust-Have Execution Skills :
Proven leadership of 15–20 team members in shiftsExperience in multiple SAP support projectsSolid understanding of ITIL framework, incident & change managementAbility to work independently on planning, sizing, and architecture-related tasksDesired Profile :
6–8 years of relevant SAP Basis experienceStrong communication, leadership, and team collaboration skillsExposure to Agile methodologies and project basicsSelf-driven with ability to multitask and work under tight deadlinesEducation :
