Role Overview :
Training and Placement Officer will lead the college’s placement and corporate relations function, ensuring robust engagement with industry partners and exceptional career outcomes for management graduates. The role involves strategic planning, corporate networking, and effective execution of placement drives to strengthen the institution’s reputation and employer brand.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Corporate Relations & Employer Development
- Identify and develop strong partnerships with leading organizations across industries for placements, internships, and live projects.
- Maintain long-term relationships with recruiters and alumni working in key companies.
- Organize campus recruitment drives, industry visits, and networking sessions.
- Act as a single point of contact for all corporate engagement activities.
2. Placement Strategy & Execution
Design and implement the annual placement plan aligned with institutional goals.Ensure high placement percentages and quality job offers for MBA and management students.Coordinate end-to-end placement processes — from corporate outreach and scheduling to offer management.Monitor placement statistics and prepare periodic placement reports for management.3. Student Preparation & Career Readiness
Work closely with faculty and training teams to enhance students’ employability.Organize pre-placement workshops, aptitude training, mock interviews, and soft-skills sessions.Guide students on career paths, company selection, and interview preparation.Ensure students are aligned with market expectations and industry needs.4. Market Intelligence & Strategic Initiatives
Conduct research on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and emerging roles in management sectors.Recommend curriculum inputs based on recruiter feedback and changing job market dynamics.Leverage data insights to develop new corporate tie-ups and sectoral opportunities.Represent the college at national HR forums, conferences, and corporate summits.5. Team Leadership & Process Management
Lead, motivate, and mentor the placement and corporate relations team.Build a structured process for tracking corporate interactions, follow-ups, and placement outcomes.Implement CRM and reporting tools to maintain placement and alumni data.Drive accountability, transparency, and efficiency within the team.Qualifications & Experience :
MBA / Master’s in HR, Marketing, or related discipline from a reputed institution.Minimum 10 years of experience in placement management, corporate relations, or talent acquisition, preferably within a reputed management college or university.Proven track record of building strong corporate networks and achieving high placement outcomes.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Strong understanding of the corporate hiring ecosystem and management roles across industries.Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.Interested candidates kindly send your CVs at
