- Infrastructure Core Products (ICP) - Global Network Services (GNS) is responsible for the engineering, development, and operation of DB’s Group-wide network for all areas of the Bank. GNS supports all aspects of network infrastructure in over 2500 offices in 50 countries.
- Associates will be responsible for building a new network environment, prepare, document and deploy changes in a network, understand the issues related to day-to-day operations, troubleshoot network issues with a network sniffer like Wireshark, liaison with carriers and vendors for installations.

Responsible for designing and implementing solutions leveraging and expanding on existing design standards, liaising with internal customers, raising changes and deploying new technologies as required by the project.Responsible for delivering the requisite level of network resiliency and for testing network failover.Responsible for planning and building a new network environmentPrepare, document and deploy changes in a networkTroubleshoot network issues with a network sniffer like WiresharkTest tools and procedures for voice and data circuits and liaison with carriers and vendors for installationsSupport both routine changes and large projects in the network backbone, data center, extranets, the trading floor, and the branch network. Projects will range from the design and buildouts of new locations and silos to the rollout of new features and functionality for global initiatives in support of global market data applications, financial systems and infrastructure involving high volume securities trading and financial transactions.Your skills and experience
Up to 4 years of experience working in a corporate global network environment, ideally with financial institutionsBasic understanding of firewalls, network security concepts and proxy serversCertified technical engineer (typically Cisco CCNA or comparable)In-depth hands-on experience with common network hardware including F5 Load balancer, Cisco router, switches, firewalls etc., together with other preferred technologiesFull understanding of ITIL and service management principals and hands on experience in complex LAN / WAN, MAN, DWDM, SONET architectureFull understanding and operational knowledge of loop prevention protocols like spanning tree protocolsIn-depth working knowledge of IPT implementation and troubleshootingGood technical knowledge of L2 protocols like HSRP, VRRP, VTP, 802.1Q, Flex Link, LACP, etc.Detailed technical knowledge of routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, RIP, etc. and can troubleshoot themDetailed technical knowledge of Cisco operating systems such as IOS and NX-OS and can troubleshoot themGood experience with network monitoring / management tools / analysis toolsService management expertise and ability to manage, improve service levelsGood analytical skills to evaluate problemsGood communication skills, fluent in local language and English (written / verbal)Excellent team worker, able to work in virtual global teams in a matrix organizationStrong interpersonal skillsThe role requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends due to business requirementsHow we’ll support you
