Job descriptionReview applications, including academic records, essays, recommendations, and test scores. Evaluate applicants based on established criteria and make admission decisions. Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure fair and consistent application reviews. Ensure all application materials are complete and follow up with applicants for missing documents. Guide prospective students and their families through the admission process, answering questions and providing clarity about application procedures, deadlines, and requirements. Assist students in selecting programs of study and discuss potential career paths. Offer advice on financial aid and scholarships available at the institution. Maintain regular communication with prospective students via phone calls, emails, and social media. Update and manage data related to prospective students, application status, and recruitment activities. Provide feedback to the admissions department about recruitment trends, challenges, and successes. Host campus visits for prospective students and their families, including tours, information sessions, and Q&A with faculty or current students. Participate in the development and enhancement of marketing materials such as brochures, websites, and promotional content. Stay informed about trends in higher education admissions, including changes in testing requirements and application processes. Work with the team to set recruitment goals and ensure targets are met. Assist in planning and executing special events such as admitted student days or open houses.

- Represent the institution at recruitment events such as college fairs, high school visits, and other outreach activities.
- Establish relationships with high school counselors, prospective students, and their families.
- Develop and implement strategies for attracting a diverse pool of applicants.
- Conduct information sessions and webinars to educate prospective students about the institution's programs and offerings.
