Tagetik Developer

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications. They will also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code.

We are seeking a skilled Software Development Specialist with expertise in Tagetik, Platnik, and General File Systems (e.g., FTP) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Corporate Performance Management (CPM) platforms, data integration, and file transfer protocols. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively manage and support our financial planning and reporting systems while ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Responsibilities :

Develop, implement, and maintain solutions using Tagetik for financial planning, consolidation, and reporting.

Manage data integration processes using SQL and data modeling techniques.

Design and manipulate Excel templates for data analysis and reporting.

Oversee ETL processes and data transformation packages to ensure accurate data flow.

Administer user profiles, roles, and system configurations within Tagetik.

Support Platnik integration with ERP and HR systems for automated data exchange.

Implement and monitor secure file transfer protocols (FTP / SFTP) for data exchange.

Write automation scripts for file transfers and manage file monitoring and logging.

Provide L2 / L3 support for integration clusters involving Tagetik and Platnik.

Utilize ITSM tools like ServiceNow for incident, change, and problem management.

Ensure application uptime and SLA compliance for file based and application based workflows.

Mandatory Skills :

Tagetik Platform Proficiency : In depth knowledge of budgeting, planning, consolidation, and reporting modules.

Data Modeling : Proficient in writing queries and managing data structures for financial data integration.

Excel Integration : Advanced skills in Excel for template design and data manipulation.

Data Transformation : Experience with data transformation packages and predictive modeling.

FTP / SFTP Protocols : Knowledge of secure file transfer protocols and tools.

Integration Support : Experience in integrating systems for automated data exchange.

Certifications : Training via the CCH Tagetik Academy is highly recommended.

Preferred Skills :

Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Testing : Understanding of data formats and protocols used in social security systems.

XML / Flat File Handling : Ability to parse and validate structured data files.

Compliance Knowledge : Familiarity with local regulatory requirements and data protection standards.

Scripting for test automation : Proficient in writing shell scripts or using tools like PowerShell or Python.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

5 7 years of relevant experience in software development and data integration.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Note : A strong proficiency in Tagetik BI and Analytics is a deal breaker for this position
