STEM Content Analyst

We are seeking a motivated Content Editor to join our talented Zoological Records (ZR) team in Chennai / Hyderabad. This is the team of 11 member. As a Content editor in the ZR team you will select, analyze and interpret, and summarize scientific research and, as such, you should have comprehensive knowledge in a life sciences subject. Your role will require you to be target-driven and to meet defined quality standards.

About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

• Work experience (Fresher or at least 1 year of experience in content editing in a science-related field
• Knowledge on animal classification, systematic taxonomy & Nomenclature will be added advantage.
• Education M.Sc. Zoology or related life science streams
• Knowledge in performing end of production cycle completeness, and accuracy tasks as assigned.
• Good scientific research and analytical skills, with attention to detail
• General computer proficiency (MS Office) and ability to quickly learn new software tools
• Good oral and written communication skills, with excellent command of English
• A good team player with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to set priorities and be flexible in a changing environment.
• Effective time management
• Self-motivated with the ability to deliver consistently.

About the Team

ZR is a comprehensive source of animal information with mainly related animal classification, systematic taxonomy & Nomenclature coming from academic literature and covers all aspects of animal biology. As an Content editor in the ZR team you will select, analyse and interpret, and summarize scientific research and, as such, you should have comprehensive knowledge in a life sciences subject. Your role will require you to be target-driven and to meet defined quality standards.

In addition, this team and its processes and workflows are about to undergo huge transformation which will offer opportunities to rethink how the team operates and identify synergies with similar teams so the ideal candidate will be comfortable with change and someone able to offer ideas and think creatively.

Team working hours - 9 am to 6 pm IST
