Design and build a conversational chatbot capable of handling VOIP-based user interactionsusing AI Agent capabilities that exist on the platform.
- Integrate AI workflows and APIs with VOIP infrastructures such as Cisco Call Manager, or SIP-
based systems.
- Develop real-time conversation logic that supports both speech recognition (STT) and text-to-
speech (TTS) capabilities.
- Work with engineering teams to extend and customize workflows, intents, and agent actions for
natural, multi-turn voice conversations.
- Design dialog flow architecture, NLP tuning, and fallback handling for hybrid voice + chat
scenarios.
- Monitor and optimize latency, audio quality, and AI response times for real-time VOIP
conversations.
- Develop logging, monitoring, and analytics layers to track chatbot engagement and resolution
metrics.
- Collaborate with AI Ops, DevOps, and Cloud Engineering teams to deploy the solution
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–6 years of experience in chatbot, conversational AI, or VOIP software development.
- Hands-on expertise building with enterprise APIs, conversational design, workflow builder
- Strong proficiency in Node.js / Python for bot logic and backend services.
- Experience with VOIP technologies : Cisco Unified Communications
- Proficiency in speech technologies : Google Speech-to-Text, Amazon Polly, Azure Cognitive
Speech Services, or similar.
- Familiarity with NLP platforms : Dialogflow, Rasa, or other NLP stack.
- Experience integrating bots with CRM / ITSM systems (Salesforce, ServiceNow, Zendesk).
- Understanding of OAuth, REST APIs, and WebSockets for integration.
- Familiarity with AI Agentic frameworks, LLM orchestration, and voice-based automation
workflows is a strong plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building voice-driven self-service assistants for customer service or IT support.
- Knowledge of contact center integration
- Prior work integrating with Aisera, Five9, NICE, or similar AI automation platforms.
- Exposure to enterprise-scale deployments with latency optimization and multi-channel
orchestration.
- Certifications in AI Agent Development, AWS AI / ML, or Google Cloud Conversational AI.
