Inviting dynamic and motivated Business Development Managers for an exciting opportunity in our BESS Business.
Location : Kolkata (frequent client / site travel)
Experience : 3+ years in battery sales
Reporting : Director – BESS
Purpose of the Role :
Frontline techno-commercial hunter — validate applications, size projects, build business cases, and convert opportunities into signed contracts.
Key Responsibilities to include :
Prospecting & client discovery; qualify use-cases (demand charges, solar+storage, backup / DG offset).Site audits and data acquisition (bills, interval data, DG fuel logs); interface with facility / electrical teams.Techno-commercial analysis : sizing, dispatch strategy, LCOS / TCO; prepare proposals and ROI / IRR models.Prepare, present and negotiate offers; manage follow-ups, procurement inputs, and contract closure.Coordinate with applications / engineering for SLDs, BoMs, and with delivery for handover and kick-off.Maintain CRM hygiene, report funnel health and weekly actions.Qualification & Other Details :
5+ yrs in B2B energy / industrial solutions (solar EPC, UPS / DG, efficiency, or BESS); hands-on with site evaluations.Strong presentation / relationship skills; consultative selling mindset; willingness to travel extensively.Engineering degree preferred; MBA / PGDM is a plus.Remuneration – Best in industry
