IT Asset & License Management Associate

Role Overview :

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior IT Asset (License & H / W Asset) Management Associate to join our Global IT Team. The ideal candidate will manage the complete lifecycle of both software licenses and hardware assets across the organization. This role involves discovery procurement optimization and maintenance of all IT tools and assets ensuring cost efficiency compliance and operational excellence.

In addition the candidate will support the team with Level 1 IT troubleshooting and contribute to improving IT processes and tools.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Software License Management

• Discover and document all existing software tools and licenses across the organization.
• Maintain a centralized inventory of all software licenses in the IT Asset Management tool.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure license compliance optimize usage and eliminate redundancies.
• Coordinate with vendors and procurement teams for renewal purchasing and negotiation of licenses.
• Propose / Perform proof of concept (POC) and feature comparisons of new software tools.
• Research cost-effective alternatives and make recommendations for more efficient AI solutions .
• Engage with functional and business teams to understand their tool requirements and usage patterns.
• Ensure alignment of software licenses with compliance budget and business needs.
• Generate and present periodic reports on license utilization cost and compliance status to the Head of IT.
