Title : Vendor Communications & Packaging Compliance Coordinator

About the Role :
As part of our global e-commerce client’s Packaging Incentives and Vendor Compliance team , you will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors / sellers to review packaging designs, validate test reports, and manage incentive approvals for high-volume online retail items. Your work will contribute to packaging cost reduction, improved shipment readiness, and enhanced end-customer experience.
Key Responsibilities :
- Review vendor / seller submissions against packaging guidelines – assess test drop reports, shipping risks, and correct item / ASIN alignment.
- Communicate with vendors / sellers in writing (via email / chat) regarding incentive eligibility, guideline compliance, and required remediation.
- Monitor item lists for high-velocity SKUs that may ship with reduced packaging and support internal data mining of opportunity items.
- Use translation tools to support communications with European marketplace vendors (DE, FR, ES, IT, PT) while primarily communicating in English.
- Collaborate with the offshore team in India to meet weekly throughput and accuracy targets; escalate packaging failures that could impact operations or customer experience.
- Maintain accurate records of approvals / denials, report weekly metrics, and highlight recurring issues or trends for process improvement.
Key Skills & Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.Excellent written English communication and strong emotional intelligence in vendor-facing correspondence.Detail-oriented with the ability to interpret packaging risks (e.g., “round item may roll on conveyor,” incorrect ASIN prototypes).Comfortable using translation tools and working across multiple vendor markets.Experience in B2B vendor communications, supply chain / operations, or customer-facing roles preferred.Ability to ramp quickly and perform efficiently in a high-volume, high-transaction environment (target proficiency within ~1 month).Good to Have / Preferred :
Experience in fulfilment centre or packaging operations (with an intuitive understanding of packaging / shipping risks).Experience working internationally with a multi-language vendor base.Proven ability to meet throughput and accuracy KPIs.Basic Excel / Google Sheets skills for tracking and reporting metrics.Why This Role Matters :
