Senior QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Test Planning & Strategy :
• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements.
• Test Execution :
• Execute manual and automated test cases across web, mobile, and API platforms to ensure functionality, performance, and security.
• Automation :
• Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
• Defect Management :
• Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Continuous Integration & Delivery :
• Integrate automated tests into CI / CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Mentorship :
• Guide and support junior QA team members in test design, automation best practices, and process improvements.
• Collaboration :
• Work closely with development, product, and DevOps teams to ensure quality standards are met across all releases.
• Reporting :
• Provide clear and detailed testing metrics, test summary reports, and quality indicators to stakeholders.
