Job descriptionResponsibilities : Infrastructure Management : Provision, configure, and maintain AWS resources, including EC2 instances, databases, networking components, and storage solutions. Monitoring & Alerting : Implement and manage comprehensive monitoring solutions for applications and infrastructure, proactively identifying and resolving issues. Automation : Develop and maintain automation scripts (e.g., Python, Bash, Terraform, CloudFormation) to streamline deployments, patching, and other operational tasks. Security : Implement and enforce security best practices, including access control, vulnerability management, and compliance requirements. Patching & Maintenance : Regularly patch and update servers and applications to maintain security and stability. Networking : Design, implement, and troubleshoot AWS networking infrastructure, including VPCs, subnets, security groups, and VPNs. Cost Optimization : Identify and implement strategies to optimize cloud costs, including resource utilization, reserved instances, and right-sizing. Incident Response : Participate in incident response and troubleshooting efforts, working to restore services quickly and efficiently. Documentation : Create and maintain clear and concise documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in managing and operating AWS infrastructure in a production environment.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts and AWS networking services (VPC, Route 53, Direct Connect, etc.).
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK stack).
- Solid understanding of security best practices in the cloud.
- Experience with cost optimization strategies in AWS.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- AWS certifications (e.g., Certified SysOps Administrator, Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus
