Job Title : Research and Development Scientist - Grade I / II

Job Location : Coimbatore

Job Type : Full time

Job Description :

Aloha Tech Ventures is looking for highly skilled and motivated Research Scientists with expertise in Nanotechnology, Graphene nanomaterial, Conductive ink synthesis, and Nanofiber development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background with Ph.D. in Nanotechnology / Chemistry / Materials Science / Polymer Chemistry, and hands-on experience with advanced characterization techniques and laboratory equipment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Graphene synthesis, conductive ink formulation for fabric coatings, and Graphene based nanofiber development.
  • Perform material characterization using XRD, AFM, SEM, TEM, FTIR, UV-Vis, and other analytical techniques.
  • Interpret and analyze experimental data to optimize materials and chemical processes.
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring accurate and reproducible results.
  • Develop new methodologies for nanomaterial synthesis and characterization.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including chemists, physicists, and engineers.
  • Prepare research reports, technical documentation, and scientific publications.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in laboratory environments.

Qualifications & Skills :

  • Grade I : Ph.D. in Nanotechnology, Chemistry, Materials Science, Polymer Chemistry with 2 years experience or M.Sc. with minimum 4 years experience in the related field.
  • Grade II : Ph.D. in Nanotechnology, Chemistry, Materials Science, Polymer Chemistry or M.Sc. with minimum 2 years experience in the related field.
  • Strong understanding of Nanomaterials, solvents, and conductive inks.
  • Hands-on experience with XRD, AFM, and other characterization techniques.
  • Proficiency in chemical data analysis.
  • Knowledge of spectroscopy, microscopy, and chromatography techniques.
  • Experience with laboratory equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small research team.
  • Preference to candidates located in Coimbatore or willing to move to Coimbatore.
