About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Android Framework Developer with deep expertise in AOSP, JNI, and HAL to join our automotive engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing Android framework components for next-generation in-vehicle infotainment and connected car solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and enhance Android framework components for automotive applications.
Work extensively on AOSP (Android Open Source Project), JNI (Java Native Interface), and HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer).
Collaborate with hardware, middleware, and application teams to integrate and validate automotive features.
Analyze, debug, and resolve complex issues related to Android framework and in-vehicle systems.
Optimize system performance, stability, and reliability for automotive-grade deployments.
Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.

Required Skills & Experience :

59 years of hands-on experience in Android framework development for automotive platforms.

Strong proficiency in AOSP customization, JNI, and HAL development.

Solid programming skills in C / C++ and Java for embedded Android development.

Experience in debugging, performance tuning, and issue resolution in Android-based automotive systems.

Understanding of automotive infotainment systems and in-vehicle network communication.

Good to Have :

Experience with Android Automotive OS (AAOS).

Knowledge of CAN, LIN, or other automotive protocols.

Exposure to functional safety standards (ISO 26262) or AUTOSAR frameworks.
