Scope of Role-
The DVA Engineer is responsible for Dimensional Variation Analysis and Tolerance stack up for ongoing and new projects.
Area of Responsibility :
DVA Engineer creates and maintains analysis models representing the assembly process, tolerances, and CAD data used for the virtual assembly of a vehicle.
He will be responsible for creating reports, communicating results, issues, and recommendations to the customer.
Job Requirements :
Should have experience in Body Components / Interior Trims / Exterior Trims Domains
Should have good working knowledge of GD&T & Tolerance Stack up Analysis
Should have good knowledge of GD&T Standard preferred ASME
Should have knowledge of 1D, 2D stack up & 3D dimensional variation analysis
Hannd on experience on Catia V5 / Teamcenter Vis Mockup
Hand on Experience in variation analysis
software VisVSA, 3DCS
Basic understanding of Kinematics
Basic understanding of CAD and Design for Manufacturing Knowledge of jigs & fixtures used in Body Area preferred
Essential :
Must have experience in Dimensional Variation analysis domain with TC 3DCS
Experience in using CATIA V 5 / V6, Team Centre Engineering (TCE)
Working knowledge of GD&T & Tolerance Stack up Analysis
Successful history of delivery with in the automotive sector
Engineering knowledge of defined component(s) / system(s) design, function, performance, production & manufacturing requirements.
Excellent communications skills, ability to communicate at all levels
PC Literacy : Microsoft Project, Power Point, Excel, Word etc.
Qualification :
BE / B. Tech in Mechanical / Production / Automotive Engineering
