Job Summary :
- The Radiologist will be responsible for interpreting medical images (X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, fetal echocardiography etc.) to diagnose diseases and injuries.
- The role involves close collaboration with physicians and surgeons to support clinical decision-making and patient care.
Roles and Responsibilities :
Interpret diagnostic imaging results including X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds fetal echocardiography.Write detailed radiological reports for referring physicians.Collaborate with other medical professionals to discuss diagnosis, treatment, and management of cases.Conduct or assist in image-guided procedures (e.g., biopsies, drainages).Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during imaging procedures.Maintain accurate patient records and image archives.Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols.Participate in department meetings, audits, and quality assurance activities.Qualifications Required :
MBBS with post-graduate degree (MD / DMRD / DNB) in Radiology.Valid medical registration from Medical Council of India (MCI) or relevant state council.Skills Needed :
Expertise in interpreting a variety of diagnostic images.Excellent analytical and observational skills.Good communication and interpersonal abilities.Familiarity with PACS and radiology information systems (RIS).Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple cases efficiently.Machine :
