Job Title : Learning and Development Manager

Location : Chennai

Experience : 5–7 Years

Languages : Hindi (Must), English

Work Days : 5 days a week

Travel : Willing to travel if required

Industry Preference : Any industry background acceptable

Role Type : Full-time, On-site

Job Summary :

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Learning and Development Manager to lead training and development initiatives and act as an HR Business Partner (HRBP) . The ideal candidate should have a strong background in L&D, a passion for people development, and the ability to align training with business goals. Prior experience in managing and executing end-to-end training programs is essential.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and implement training programs across all levels of the organization.
  • Conduct training need analysis (TNA) and identify skill gaps.
  • Plan and manage learning calendars and training schedules.
  • Coordinate with department heads to understand functional training requirements.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and maintain records of program outcomes.
  • Support and collaborate with HR in the execution of HRBP responsibilities, including employee engagement, performance management, and talent development.
  • Monitor learning progress and assist employees with individual development plans.
  • Work closely with external trainers or consultants as needed.
  • Stay updated with latest training trends and technologies.
  • Travel to different locations for training delivery or audits if required.

Key Requirements :

  • Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of proven experience as a Training and Development Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of learning methodologies, adult learning principles, and digital learning tools.
  • Prior experience handling HRBP responsibilities is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in Hindi and English.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; exposure to LMS tools is a plus.
  • Salary : As per industry standards
