pharmaceutical industry

to lead

new client acquisition

and

category development

  • . This role is ideal for someone who understands the nuances of healthcare marketing, brand positioning, and ethical communication — and can bridge the gap between the pharma industry’s needs and Patrika’s media solutions.
  • Position Overview : The role focuses on

    building new client relationships and driving advertising business

    from pharmaceutical and healthcare organizations across Rajasthan Patrika’s media platforms —

    Print, Digital, Radio, and OOH

    The candidate will leverage industry knowledge, marketing insight, and client networks to open new business opportunities, conceptualize brand campaigns, and position Patrika as a preferred communication partner for the healthcare sector.

    Strictly from non-media background.

    Key Responsibilities :

    1. Business Development & Client Acquisition

    Identify, engage, and acquire

    new clients from the pharmaceutical, healthcare, nutraceutical, and medical device sectors.

    Develop a robust

    pipeline of potential clients

    through market research, professional networks, and industry connects.

    Understand client objectives, brand portfolios, and product communication needs to propose

    customized, compliant media strategies

    Approach both

    Rx (prescription-driven)

    and

    OTC (over-the-counter)

    pharma brands to offer integrated advertising solutions.

    2. Strategic Market Development

    Build and scale

    Pharma as a focused category

    for Rajasthan Patrika across all media formats.

    Partner with internal sales, creative, and marketing teams to design impactful

    Print + Radio + OOH + Digital campaigns.

    Create proposals that align medical ethics with innovative storytelling and consumer engagement.

    Develop long-term partnerships with

    marketing heads, brand managers, and medical communication agencies.

    3. Revenue & Target Management

    Own and deliver on quarterly and annual

    revenue targets

    for new business acquisition in the pharma sector.

    Negotiate contracts, finalize proposals, and ensure timely closure of deals.

    Coordinate with the finance and operations teams for

    billing, collection, and client servicing.

    4. Relationship Management

    Build

    CXO-level relationships

    with key pharma clients and marketing leaders.

    Represent Rajasthan Patrika at

    pharma conferences, brand summits, and healthcare marketing forums.

    Act as a

    category ambassador

    , promoting the power of integrated media for health communication.

    5. Insight & Market Intelligence

    Track

    industry trends, regulatory updates, and media spending patterns

    in the pharma sector.

    Share actionable insights with internal teams to shape category strategy and future offerings.

    Benchmark competitors and identify untapped communication opportunities within the sector.

    Candidate Profile : Education :

    Graduate / Postgraduate in

    Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or Marketing.

    MBA or PGDM in

    Marketing / Healthcare Management

    preferred.

    Experience :

    8–12 years of professional experience

    in

    pharmaceutical sales, marketing, or business development.

    Experience working with

    pharma brands, healthcare marketing, or institutional sales

    (B2B / B2C).

    Strictly non-media background

    — candidates must come from pharma, healthcare, or life sciences sectors.

    Key Skills and Competencies :

    Strong understanding of

    pharma marketing, brand lifecycle management, and regulatory frameworks.

    Excellent

    relationship-building, networking, and communication skills.

    Strategic mindset with the ability to

    translate brand goals into creative media solutions.

    Proficiency in

    consultative selling

    and

    Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
