The Sr. Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) plays a critical role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. By building robust automated test frameworks and integrating quality practices throughout the development lifecycle, this role accelerates product delivery, reduces defects, and enables the engineering team to deliver scalable, customer-focused solutions.

Primary Objectives

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for web applications and services that expose http or RPC API endpoints
• Partner closely with engineers and product teams to embed quality into every phase of the SDLC.
• Drive continuous integration and deployment testing to streamline release cycles.
• Identify and resolve performance, scalability, and reliability issues through automated validation.
• Provide mentorship and support to developers and QA team members on automation best practices.
• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and industry quality standards.
• Develop strong domain knowledge, and regularly access / communicate value and risk with test cases.

What does SUCCESS look like

In this role, success will mean driving measurable improvements in software quality and delivery speed. Within the first year, the Sr. SDET will have achieved automation coverage of 90% or higher for critical features and regression testing, helping to significantly reduce release cycle times through well-integrated, automated pipelines. They will establish a scalable and maintainable automation framework adopted across teams, leading to early defect detection and prevention, and a marked decrease in production issues. By fostering strong collaboration with engineering, product, and QA teams, the Sr. SDET will integrate quality practices seamlessly into the development process, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
