Job description

Position : Senior Oracle Demantra Consultant

Experience : 8–10 years

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end implementation and support of Oracle Demantra modules, including Demand Management, Predictive Trade Planning, and Deductions & Settlement Management (DSM).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into system configurations.
  • Design and configure Demantra workflows, forecast trees, and engine tuning based on demand data.
  • Provide expert-level troubleshooting and performance optimization for Demantra applications.
  • Develop and execute data extraction queries, manage Demantra tables, and ensure data integrity.
  • Support integration with Oracle VCP (Value Chain Planning) and other ERP modules.
  • Conduct training sessions and create user documentation for business stakeholders.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Demantra.
  • Strong understanding of forecasting algorithms, trade promotion planning, and demand analytics.
  • Proficiency in SQL, PL / SQL, and Demantra data model.
  • Experience with Oracle ASCP, EBS, and VCP is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills & should be able to work with UK Client independently
  • Must have strong PL / SQL, interface knowledge.
  • Should be able to analyze the interface and technical issues.
  • Should be able to debug issues and provide solutions for Demantra
  • Should be able to design, develop and deliver the enhancements
  • Should be able to coordinate with Oracle & Business for Oracle SR’s
  • Should be able to perform impact analysis
  • Should be able to detail solution design
  • Should be able to do Unit testing & Integration testing
  • Should be able to support UAT
  • Should be able to append documentation for requirement gatherings, use cases, Test scripts.
  • Should be able to hand over to production support
  • Should be able to help Production Support for identifying repetitive issues and propose solution for permanent fix
