Required Technical and Professional Experience :

  • 6+ Years of experience with integration protocols such as MQ, File, SOAP, HTTP, TCPIP, and REST, supported by IBM Integration Bus (IIB) / App Connect Enterprise (ACE).
  • Proficient in creating message flows using different nodes within IIB / ACE.
  • Experience in developing SOAP web services and REST APIs in the IIB / ACE environment.
  • Hands-on experience with ACE / IIB toolkit and GUI, as well as DataPower GUI for configurations and monitoring.
  • Expertise in implementing security measures, installing certificates, and configuring databases using IIB in Unix / Linux environments.
  • Proficiency with IBM MQ for messaging and integration tasks.
  • Proven knowledge and experience with Kafka Confluent and API building.
  • Strong understanding of Kafka Architecture, including producers, consumers, topics, and partitions.
  • Experience in Data Router configurations and working with KSQL for real-time data streaming and analytics.
  • Hands-on experience in a Kafka-based platform or environment for data streaming and integration.
  • Solid understanding of modern DevOps tools and engineering practices.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams in a collaborative, agile environment.
  • Proficiency in Unix / Linux environments and shell scripting for automation tasks.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience :

  • Certification in one or more hyperscalers such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native integration patterns and technologies.
  • Knowledge of modern CI / CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Terraform).
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Advanced knowledge of secure messaging protocols and best practices in enterprise environments.
  • Experience with monitoring tools and managing performance issues for ESB / Kafka systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
