Role Overview :
The Senior Piping Designer will be responsible for developing and overseeing piping design deliverables for onshore oil & gas projects. This includes creating plot plans, equipment layouts, piping plans, isometrics, and support details, while ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Independently develop piping designs including plot plans, equipment layouts, and piping plans.
- Plan and schedule design activities in coordination with the job engineer.
- Supervise and check the work of a team of 4–5 piping designers.
- Review designs for completeness, safety, accessibility, and operability.
- Conduct interdisciplinary checks to ensure coordination across engineering disciplines.
- Prepare construction drawings and job packages including isometrics, material take-offs (MTOs), and support details.
- Maintain and update comprehensive drawing lists.
- Review and comment on vendor drawings.
- Perform site surveys to support design accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with HSES (Health, Safety, Environment, and Security) policies.
- Adhere to all applicable information security policies and procedures.
