About the Role

As the Founding QA Engineer, you will take ownership of end-to-end testing across both our core product and client-specific deployments. You’ll design and implement testing processes, write and execute test cases, and ensure every product release—demo or live—is stable, reliable, and ready for enterprise use.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in fast-paced startup environments, takes ownership of quality outcomes, and can think both analytically and empathetically—like a builder and a user.

What You’ll Own

1. Product Quality & Stability

  • Plan, design, and execute test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • Test all core modules and client-specific customisations before every deployment.
  • Collaborate with developers to identify, reproduce, and verify fixes for reported bugs.
  • Maintain structured test documentation and release reports.

2. Client Deployment & Validation

  • Work closely with Account Managers and CSMs to test client implementations end-to-end.
  • Validate all event workflows and integrations prior to client go-live.
  • Ensure client-specific customizations do not affect the core product’s performance.

    • 3. Testing Process & Improvement

  • Define and implement QA processes, templates, and best practices from the ground up.
  • Establish bug tracking and reporting standards using tools like JIRA or ClickUp.
  • Identify recurring issues and propose preventive testing measures.
  • Explore opportunities to gradually automate repeatable test scenarios.

    • 4. Release & Reporting

  • Provide QA sign-offs for every release and deployment.
  • Maintain metrics for defects, regression trends, and release stability.
  • Communicate quality status and risks clearly to leadership and stakeholders.

    • Desired Candidature :

  • 2–4 years of experience in testing SaaS or web-based applications.
  • Strong understanding of manual testing, exploratory testing, and regression cycles.
  • Experience using bug-tracking tools like JIRA or ClickUp.
  • Basic understanding of APIs, browser console debugging, and SQL queries.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
  • High ownership mindset and ability to work cross-functionally with tech and client teams.

    • Bonus if you have :

  • Experience in enterprise SaaS or multi-tenant applications.
  • Exposure to automation tools like Postman, Selenium, or Cypress.
  • Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and agile release cycles.
