Job description

Our company is a new kind of healthcare provider, committed to providing access to medicines and advancing sustainable operations. We were formed in 2020 through the combination of two major companies.

The position will occupy a senior role in supporting our Global Medical Affairs department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supports the development and execution of medical strategy for assigned products; provides overall scientific and medical oversight within assigned therapeutic area.
  • Assists senior leadership with assessments and intelligence on potential new products, joint ventures, corporate partnerships and due diligence activities.
  • Works with the commercial team to build awareness of our products in the medical community.
  • Provides clinical support for field sales efforts and medical science liaisons.

    • Qualifications and Experience

  • Requires working knowledge of Good Clinical Practices and Health Authorities regulatory reporting requirements
  • Ability to research and critically analyze product information, clinical data and medical literature

    • Skills and Abilities

  • Proven ability to effectively communicate at management level
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, communication and results oriented project management skills

    • Experience / Education

  • Medical Degree (MD) in Gastroenterology or Internal Medicine and 4+ years pharmaceutical industry experience with proven track record of contribution to commercial, medical and / or clinical development strategies preferred
  • Customer expertise especially scientific leadership and other key stakeholders

    • Licenses / Certifications

  • Board eligible or certification in therapeutic area related to position
  • Clinical research experience
