A leading private tertiary-care healthcare provider in the multi-specialty hospital sector, delivering comprehensive cardiology diagnostics, interventional care and inpatient / outpatient services to a growing regional population in Himachal Pradesh. We seek an experienced cardiology consultant to join a high-acuity hospital team on-site in Dharamshala.

Primary Title

Consultant Cardiologist (DM / DrNB) — On-site | Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh

Compensation & Location

Location : Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh, India. Salary : INR 7–8 Lakhs per month (negotiable based on experience).

Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality inpatient and outpatient cardiology care : evaluate referrals, manage CCU patients, and lead cardiology clinics with evidence-based treatment plans.
• Perform and / or supervise diagnostic and interventional procedures—echocardiography, stress testing, ambulatory monitoring and Cath Lab procedures (coronary angiography / PCI) as per credentialing.
• Respond to cardiac emergencies (STEMI, shock, life-threatening arrhythmias), participate in the on-call rota and lead rapid-response cardiac interventions.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care with cardiac surgery, critical care, anesthesiology and rehabilitation teams to optimise patient outcomes and throughput.
• Maintain clinical governance : document cases, run morbidity & mortality reviews, support NABH / quality audits and implement guideline-driven protocols.
• Mentor and supervise junior doctors, trainees and nursing staff; contribute to teaching, clinical audits and departmental research initiatives.
