Job Summary :

As a Bread Financial Security Architecture Team member, you will perform the necessary leadership, facilitation, planning, analysis, and design tasks related to developing an overall IAM security architecture for Bread Financial.

The Sr. IAM Architect will partner closely with peer technology architects and key strategic vendors and service providers.

The Sr. IAM Architect will plan, design, and challenge the security of the IAM solution approaches that support cross-functional business needs and align with long-term industry best practices and Bread Financial technology roadmaps.

Individuals within this role will specialize in the IAM architecture discipline and drive the company's vision for IAM.

Essential Job Functions :

  • Establish a long-term vision and drive standards and architecture to establish a go-forward strategy at the enterprise level.
  • Define enterprise processes to manage the lifecycle of user accounts and identities.
  • Coordinate, gather and influence key stakeholders around IAM topics.
  • Drive planning and execution of identity management roadmaps and technology enhancements. (40%).
  • Govern and lead identity and access management (IAM) at Bread Financial.
  • Design IAM tools and mechanisms, drive the roadmap, and ensure compliance.
  • Automate identity administration across enterprise systems.
  • Establish and maintain standards, processes, and documentation for identity infrastructure and procedures.
  • Provide advanced architectural support to meet identity and compliance needs. (30%).
  • Partner with external and vendor resources in supporting the IAM program and ensure relationship with external parties with the support of sourcing and legal teams.
  • Works with engineering teams to assess current applications and architecture to ensure current implementations align with industry guidelines, best practices, and management-approved standards. (15%).
  • Assists various Technology departments with designing, implementing, and troubleshooting security technologies.
  • Provide security guidance and requirements for IAM to technology teams when no solution is currently available. (15%).

    • Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelors Degree in computer science, networking, information technology, or relevant field of study.
  • 10+ years of demonstrated experience as an architect with a strong focus in the IAM discipline; demonstrated experience designing, implementing, administering, and supporting IAM technologies; desmontrated experience in cloud security with a focus on IAM.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Two or more relevant professional technical certifications (examples : CISA, CISSP, GIAC, CEH, etc.)

    • Skills :

  • Identity and Access Management (IAM) Operations.
  • IAM Tools.
  • Technology Leadership.
  • Cloud Security Architecture.
  • Threat Management.
  • Automation Technology.

    • Reports To : Senior Manager and above.

    Direct Reports : 0.

    Work Environment : Normal office environment, hybrid.
