Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Mumbai for a Software Systems Engineer. The Software Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software systems, providing systems engineering support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring efficiency and reliability. The role involves system administration, technical support, and working closely with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- Architect and develop Linux-based backend systems in C / C++ , including device communication, data management, and control logic.
- Implement frontend visualization and UI modules (Qt / QML or similar frameworks) for radar / EW system dashboards and operator consoles.
- Integrate data streams from radar sensors, RF receivers, and jammers onto SBCs and GPU boards for real-time monitoring and control.
- Develop inter-process communication (IPC) , multi-threaded data pipelines , and networked interfaces (TCP / UDP, ZeroMQ, shared memory) .
- Optimize system performance for low latency, high throughput , and real-time determinism .
- Build software modules for data logging, playback, visualization, and diagnostics .
- Collaborate with RF, Embedded, and System Integration teams for sensor calibration, testing, and field validation .
- Contribute to system-level architecture, documentation, and code reviews .
- Support integration with GPU-accelerated pipelines for signal or image processing using CUDA / OpenCL .
- Implement modular, portable frameworks to run across different hardware configurations and mission setups
