Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven sales professional to lead Sales & Business Development activities for spice ingredients produced at our global locations, targeting the United States market. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of select customers, comprising both existing clients and new prospects. This role requires proactive outreach, diligent relationship management, and a strong focus on achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Management :
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and business growth.
  • Identify, engage, and convert new prospects to expand the customer base within the US market.
  • Sales Coordination :
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with the supply chain and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of orders and fulfillment of client needs.
  • Product Scope :
  • Manage the sales of a comprehensive range of spice ingredients sourced from various global origins, tailored to the requirements of assigned accounts.
  • Business Development :
  • Initiate and execute outreach strategies, including cold calls and targeted emails, to generate new business opportunities.
  • Work diligently to close deals with new accounts and drive revenue growth.
  • Travel :
  • Undertake occasional travel as required to support business development initiatives and strengthen client relationships.

Requirements

  • MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
  • 3–4 years of sales experience, preferably within the ingredients (B2B), with a focus on export markets.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing US-based clients is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Willingness to travel as needed
