Role – Practice Lead: IBM Maximo & Enterprise Asset Management

Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Practice Lead to head our IBM Maximo and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) practice. This leadership role is responsible for driving strategic direction, solution development, client engagement, and team growth in the EAM domain. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in IBM Maximo, a strong understanding of asset-intensive industries, and a proven track record of delivering enterprise-grade EAM solutions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Define and execute the strategic roadmap for the IBM Maximo and EAM practice
• Expand IBM Maximo practice and evolve into EAM by incorporating tools such as Hexagon, Aveva, etc.
• Lead a team of consultants, architects, and developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Establish best practices, methodologies, and reusable assets for EAM implementations.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business challenges and aligning EAM solutions accordingly.
• Lead pre-sales activities including solutioning, proposal development, and client presentations.
• Oversee end-to-end implementation of IBM Maximo solutions including requirements gathering, design, configuration, integration, testing, and deployment.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Drive innovation by leveraging Maximo Application Suite (MAS), AI, IoT, and mobile capabilities.
• Mentor and develop team members through training, certifications, and career planning.
• Collaborate with IBM and other technology partners like Hexagon, Aveva, to stay ahead of product updates and co-develop go-to-market strategies.
• Steer a culture of continuous learning and excellence

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Over 15 years of experience, including 3+ years in practice leadership roles in IBM Maximo and EAM.
• Proven experience in leading large-scale Maximo implementations across industries (utilities, transportation, oil & gas, manufacturing, etc.).
• Strong understanding of Maximo Application Suite (MAS), Maximo Mobile, and integration with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and other third-party tools
• Experience with cloud-based Maximo deployments (AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud).
• IBM Maximo certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of predictive maintenance, IoT, and AI/ML in asset management.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks (ISO 55000, OSHA, etc.).
• Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
• Strong business acumen and collaborative mindset
• Experience with global rollouts

Qualification – Bachelor’s in Engineering / Master of Technology / MBA or higher.
