Job Title : Site Supervisor – Civil Engineer
Location : Assagao, Goa
Project : 4 villas (Mediterranean-style, premium residential)

About the Project :
We are building four high-end villas in Assagao, Goa. The design features Mediterranean-style architecture with modern arches, vertical colonnades, premium finishes and elegant landscaping. We require a dedicated on-site Civil Engineer who will represent the Owner’s interests, coordinate with the contractor, monitor progress, ensure quality, safety and cost control, and keep the Owner updated.
Key Responsibilities :
- Act as the Owner’s on-site representative : liaise daily with the main contractor, subcontractors and site team to ensure work aligns with design & contract specifications.
- Monitor construction progress : track daily works, labour, equipment, materials, schedule adherence and identify slippages or delays.
- Quality control : check workmanship, materials, tolerances, finishes, ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, building codes and relevant standards.
- Safety & site housekeeping : enforce safe working practices, ensure site is organised, clean, free of hazards, and that safety protocols are followed.
- Material & resource oversight : verify deliveries, check conformity to specifications, manage site inventories and report any shortages or mismatches.
- Reporting & communication : prepare and submit regular site reports (daily / weekly / monthly) to the Owner, highlighting progress, issues, risks, cost implications and corrective actions.
- Issue management & resolution : identify and escalate problems (technical, contractual, safety, scheduling), propose solutions and follow up to closure.
- Schedule & budget control : help monitor project schedule, cost-to-date, assist in change-order review and ensure contractor compliance with the agreed programme.
- Contractor coordination : attend site meetings, coordinate subcontractors, ensure handovers between trades are managed, manage interface issues.
- Documentation : maintain site diaries / logs, drawing registers, test / certification records, snag lists, quality checklists and as‐built records.
- Compliance & regulation : ensure all on-site activities comply with local building regulations, permits, environmental and HSE requirements.
Required Qualifications & Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.Minimum 3-5 years of on-site experience in civil construction supervision, preferably residential villa or high-end residential projects in India.Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, structural & finishing works, local building codes and regulations.Proven ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, schedules and contract documents.Experience working with contractors and subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades.Excellent communication skills (English + local language) and ability to report clearly to the owner.Proactive, organised, with good problem-solving ability and attention to detail.Must be willing to be on site full-time (Assagao), tolerate site conditions (weather, outdoors) and travel as required.Valid driver’s licence preferred for site mobility.Desirable / Nice to Have :
Diploma or certification in construction safety or site supervision.Experience with premium finishing works, stonework, bespoke architectural details.Familiarity with digital tools for site monitoring (daily reporting apps, photos, site diaries).Good local network (vendors, subcontractors) in Goa region.What we offer :
