Responsibilities
The ideal candidate would be part of the bids & pursuits team and as a bid
manager the person is responsible to :
- Act as a single point of contact (SPOC) between sales, presales, delivery, and other internal / external teams (partners or product vendors) from qualification through contract award.
- Manage the bid qualification (bid go / no go) process for new opportunities, such as RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and eTenders.
- Provide market analysis (current / future trends), competitor analysis and gap analysis
- Devise win strategy including win themes, competitive analysis, pricing strategy, and action plans
- Risk tracking and management throughout the bid process
- Closely liaise with sales, presales / SME, delivery, and other internal teams / support functions and articulate / develop key value propositions, USPs, and comprehensive proposals for RFP / RFQ / RFI / eTenders.
- Support sales and delivery teams to negotiate with clients during all the phases of pre-contract signing till contract closure.
- Implement innovative ideas and best practices, ensuring quality, timely, and compelling proposals.
- Extend support to the marketing and sales teams in preparing Go-to-Market plans, collaterals, and other relevant marketing materials.
- Coordinate with legal and other internal teams or functions to support sales in executing NDA, teaming / partner / sub-contractor agreement and master services agreement with clients / vendor registrations (if any).
- Generate and keep track of all the proposals across geos through the proposal tracker.
Maintain a repository of reusable content / proposals / collaterals and assist the team with the latest information as and when required.

The ideal candidate should match the following criteria :
Level of Education :
Degree in any discipline or higher education from a recognized university.ITIL, APMP certification would be preferable.Experience :
8-15 years in proposal writing, bid coordinating, and managing roles, preferably within the IT solutions industry.Working experience in the Utility domain is a must.Professional skills :
Should have in-depth professional experience and knowledge in telecom projectsShould have the ability to handle large and complex bids seamlessly from end-to-end bids including commercialsShould have a complete understanding of SDLC and Scrum / Agile frameworkShould have knowledge / familiarity with Cloud and Infrastructure servicesShould have hands-on in Visio, Word, Excel, Project Plan and PowerPoint.Should be able to work under pressure within challenging deadlines.Should have the ability to manage multiple bids concurrently and work with cross-functional teams.Should have strong time management and prioritization skills.Should be able to communicate with and influence senior management, clients, and delivery teams to win business.Should have proven writing / editing skills and adhere to brand compliance.Behavioral Skills : Should be / haveknowledge / familiarity :
