Role Overview

The

Proxy Project Owner

acts as a bridge between the client stakeholders, product management team, and the development squads. This role ensures that the project objectives are met through well-defined requirements, smooth sprint execution, and proactive delivery oversight. You will work closely with the Product Owner, Project Manager, and technical leads to translate the vision into actionable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Represent the

Product / Project Owner

in daily stand-ups, sprint ceremonies, and delivery discussions.

Gather, clarify, and translate

business and functional requirements

into actionable tasks.

Maintain and prioritize

product / project backlogs

aligned with the roadmap.

Collaborate with UI / UX, QA, and development teams to ensure requirements are clear and achievable.

Monitor sprint progress, identify risks, and drive resolutions proactively.

Facilitate communication between

stakeholders and engineering teams .

Conduct

UAT sessions , collect feedback, and ensure deliverables meet acceptance criteria.

Support planning, estimation, and reporting of project milestones and KPIs.

Ensure adherence to

Agile / Scrum frameworks

and delivery best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

3–6 years of experience as a

Proxy Project Owner / Product Owner / Business Analyst / Project Coordinator .

Proven track record of working in

Agile / Scrum environments .

Strong understanding of

software development lifecycle (SDLC) .

Proficiency with

Jira, Confluence, and related project management tools .

Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder-handling skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in fast-paced environments.

Technical understanding of web and mobile platforms (React, Node.js, or similar).

Preferred Qualifications

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Product Owner (CSPO).

Experience managing

SaaS or Microservices-based projects .

Prior exposure to multi-country delivery teams or enterprise clients.
