About the Role :

We are building a modern, cloud-native platform to support critical applications across finance, credit, document, and AI-powered systems. As a Principal Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure, you will be a key member of the CFL Platform Engineering and Operations team, you will lead the architecture and execution of infrastructure platforms that enable reliability, scalability, security, and developer productivity at scale.

This is a strategic technical leadership role, driving cloud adoption, automation, and infrastructure architecture across multiple business domains. You’ll partner with engineering, security, AI, and SRE teams to build robust platforms that support multi-cloud deployments, CI / CD automation, zero-downtime operations, and cost-effective scaling.

What You’ll Do :

Architect and evolve cloud-native infrastructure platforms supporting mission-critical services across AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI

Lead the design and implementation of automated provisioning, scaling, and observability systems using IaC (Terraform, Pulumi, or ARM)

Define and maintain standards for network architecture, service mesh, IAM, and cloud resource management

Drive adoption of immutable infrastructure, container orchestration (Kubernetes), and scalable infrastructure patterns

Develop strategies for high availability, disaster recovery, and zero-downtime deployments

Optimize CI / CD workflows across multiple environments, enabling safe and frequent releases

Collaborate with SRE and DevOps teams to deliver resilient infrastructure that supports SLAs, SLIs, and SLOs

Identify opportunities to reduce toil through automation, telemetry, and self-service tooling

Embed cloud security best practices into architecture, including policy-as-code, identity, and data protection

Partner with security and compliance teams to ensure audit readiness, guardrails, and platform governance

Monitor cloud usage and drive cost optimizations, scaling plans, and accountability across environments

Lead architectural decision-making and reviews for infrastructure initiatives across multiple domains

Mentor engineers across teams in cloud architecture, DevOps, and scalable platform practices

Collaborate with TPMs, Product, and Architecture leaders to align cloud strategy with business outcomes

Represent cloud engineering in executive technical discussions, roadmap reviews, and enterprise platform forums

What You’ll Bring :

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field

7-12 years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, or cloud platform engineering

Deep expertise in cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS, GCP, OCI also relevant)

Proven experience architecting secure, scalable, and automated infrastructure for enterprise environments

Hands-on experience with Terraform, GitLab CI / CD, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architecture patterns

Familiarity with HAProxy, load balancing, service discovery, and API gateway solutions

Experience supporting distributed microservices, hybrid workloads, and platform engineering initiatives

Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects across large-scale, multi-team organizations

Any Databases : SQL & NOSQL (Cassandra / Oracle / Snowflake / MongoDB)

Any Messaging : Kafka, Rabbit MQ

Any Observability / Monitoring : Splunk / Grafana / Open Telemetry / ELK Stack / Datadog / New Relic / Prometheus)

Cloud Infra : AWS & Azure

Nice To Have :

Data governance strategy : SQL Server / MongoDB encryption, masking, access policies

Enterprise cloud reference architecture (Azure, AWS, Databricks)

Exec reporting, risk registers, modernization strategy

FinOps governance : showback / chargeback, cost optimization

Resilience playbooks : chaos engineering, cross-cloud failover
