What you’ll be doing
You’ll play a key role in connecting critical healthcare systems and ensuring seamless data flow across clinical environments.
Your work will directly impact the efficiency of patient care delivery by building reliable, secure and high performing integrations.
In this role, you will :
- Design, develop, test and deploy interfaces using HL7, DICOM and other healthcare messaging standards.
- Configure and manage integration engines such as Mirth Connect or Rhapsody to enable communication between EMR, RIS, PACS and other clinical systems.
- Collaborate with project managers, vendors and clinical stakeholders to capture requirements and deliver tailored integration solutions.
- Participate in integration testing, validation and go-live support for new implementations and system upgrades.
- Monitor and maintain interface performance, troubleshoot issues and ensure data integrity across workflows.
- Maintain technical documentation and change logs for ongoing support and compliance.
- Occasionally participate in on-call support rotations for critical issues.
Your Background
We’re looking for someone who thrives in the intersection of technology and healthcare, a problem solver who enjoys connecting systems that ultimately support better patient outcomes.
You’ll bring :
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).3–5 years’ experience in healthcare systems integration.Strong knowledge of HL7 (v2 / v3), DICOM and ideally FHIR.Hands-on experience with Mirth Connect or Rhapsody Interface Engine.Proven track record integrating EMR, RIS, PACS, or Pathology systems.Familiarity with API-based integrations (REST / JSON, SOAP).Proficiency in JavaScript, Python or similar scripting for message transformation.Solid understanding of healthcare workflows and clinical data standards.Exposure to cloud or hybrid integration environments and understanding of data privacy frameworks like HIPAA, will be a bonus.What’s on offer
