Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Medical Documentation Specialist to assist our client's healthcare team with documenting patient records. The successful candidate will possess excellent English writing skills and advanced grammar / spelling proficiency.
Responsibilities include preparing medical record documentation / charts for physicians, scribing medical records utilizing electronic applications, ensuring medical record compliance through self-documentation attestation, updating patient history and other health information in the prescribed format, sending documentation to physicians for review and approval via authentication, complying with hospital and medical facility policies, including HIPAA, and performing other tasks to improve provider productivity and clinic workflow as assigned.
