We are seeking a skilled Integration Engineer to design, develop, and maintain seamless integrations between internal platforms and external systems using iPaaS and workflow automation tools such as n8n. In this role, you will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to gather requirements, create efficient data flows, and implement scalable automation solutions. The position requires hands-on experience with APIs, webhooks, and JavaScript, along with a strong understanding of secure data handling and enterprise system connectivity. You will play a key role in troubleshooting, monitoring, and optimizing integrations while contributing to the company’s automation strategy. Accountabilities :
- Design, develop, and deploy robust n8n workflows and custom JavaScript functions to connect internal systems with vendor, customer, and OEM APIs.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration workflows for performance, reliability, and error handling.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define data schemas, API contracts, and integration requirements.
- Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation for APIs, workflows, and integration processes.
- Contribute to automation strategy, evaluating new iPaaS platforms and recommending workflow best practices.
- Participate in code and workflow reviews, ensuring compliance with coding, security, and data privacy standards.
- Implement monitoring dashboards and alerts to proactively detect integration failures and SLA breaches.
- Serve as the primary point of escalation for integration-related issues, collaborating with engineering teams for resolution.
Requirements
Minimum 3+ years of experience in software development or systems integration, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience using iPaaS / workflow automation platforms (n8n, Zapier, Workato, MuleSoft, etc.).Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and experience writing custom code inside automation tools.Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, webhooks, OAuth / OAuth2, and GraphQL.Familiarity with integration concepts including data retrieval, transformation, and secure authentication methods.Experience connecting enterprise systems such as vendor APIs, licensing databases, or CMDBs is preferred.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.Excellent collaboration, verbal, and written communication skills.High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality solutions.Experience with code reviews and adhering to development best practices.Benefits
