Senior Research Analyst - Private Equity

Roles & Responsibilities

Data Management

Work as part of the global data team maintaining and creating data products used by leading financial institutions worldwide.

Assist the client reporting team with the preparation, review, and distribution of accurate and timely reports to stakeholders.

Support the finance department in analyzing fund performance, tracking cash flows, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Collaborate with the data integrity team to ensure accuracy and consistency of data across systems and reports.

Contribute to operational due diligence processes by gathering and organizing relevant data and documentation.

Drive continuous improvement within the process through quality initiatives.

Work closely with Product and Engineering teams for new product ideas and product enhancements.

Team & Client Management

Drive quality objectives for the project.

Work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to identify potential opportunities in the domain.

Required Skills and Attributes

Logical & Critical Thinking

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

3-5 years of experience

in private equity, investment management, or financial operations.

Proficiency in

global capital market concepts

and thorough understanding of the various securities and financial products. Must be able to understand global nomenclature / terminologies and make quick analysis / decisions.

Familiarity with

private equity operations

and

reporting tools .

Understanding of

compliance and regulatory frameworks

related to private equity.

Attention to detail, focus for extended periods, and a perfectionist mentality.

Technology Skills – Must Have / Must Develop

Advanced

Excel

to analyze large datasets using functions like Group, Index : Match, Array, etc.

Basic

SQL

RPA / Python / VBA Macros

PowerBI

Role Expectations

The role involves a deep understanding of datasets and data products, requiring a hands-on approach for operations management.

Candidates willing to dive deep and work with aggressive deadlines will be preferred.
