About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and data-driven engineering manager with a strong full-stack background to lead our engineering teams in building scalable, high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in large-scale e-commerce environments , a proven track record of managing teams of 25+ engineers , and a passion for driving engineering excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 25+ engineers across backend, frontend, and full-stack domains.
Drive end-to-end product delivery—from architecture and development to testing anddeployment.
Build and scale complex web applications using Python , Node.js , and React.js .
Collaborate closely with product, design, and data teams to deliver customer-centric solutions.
Establish and enforce engineering best practices, coding standards, and CI / CD pipelines.
Drive data-driven decision-making and continuously improve team productivity and quality metrics.
Manage technical roadmaps, sprint planning, and resource allocation for multiple projects.
Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance in high-traffic e-commerce environments.
Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and innovation within the team.

Required Skills & Experience :

10+ years of total experience in software development, with at least 3–5 years in engineering management roles.

Strong hands-on expertise in Python , Node.js , and React.js .

Proven experience leading large, cross-functional engineering teams (25+ members).

Deep understanding of system architecture , microservices , APIs , and cloud-native applications .

Experience working in high-scale e-commerce or product-based companies .

Strong data-driven mindset; ability to use analytics and metrics to drive decisions and improvements.

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Experience with modern DevOps tools, CI / CD, and agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications :

Prior experience building or scaling e-commerce platforms or marketplaces.

Experience with distributed systems, caching, and performance optimization.

Familiarity with modern data platforms or data engineering concepts.

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
