Role Description :

Southwest PullSheet team is looking for a seasoned Senior Backend Developer with a strong background in building scalable microservices-based architectures using either Java (Spring Boot), Node.js (Express), or Python (FastAPI). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience deploying and managing services on AWS, including key services like Lambda, S3, SNS, SQS, ElastiCache, and ECS.

You will be a critical part of the team driving backend architecture, API design, and cloud infrastructure decisions. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment and is passionate about writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and deploy robust and scalable microservices.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, and frontend teams to define APIs and integration patterns.
• Build RESTful and / or event-driven APIs using Java (Spring Boot), Node.js (Express), or Python (FastAPI).
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure high code quality and reliability.
• Leverage AWS services (Lambda, S3, SNS, SQS, ECS, ElastiCache) for cloud-native development and deployment.
• Optimize services for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile ceremonies.
