Section Manager - Soft Coat

Responsibilities

• To monitor all production facilities in order to achieve production volume targets.
• To implement and review new technologies / process improvement initiatives in order to reduce product processing cost / increase productivities.
• To achieve breakthrough improvements in manufacturing Process.
• To develop, upgrade and modify production equipments, processes and systems as per business requirement.
• To reduce working capital through optimization of store inventory norms and indigenization of imported spares.
• To undertake development initiatives for self and team to ensure continuous growth and competency development
• Implementation of Performance Management & Deployment Management system.
• Reduction in cost of consumables through finding cheaper replacement items for costly items.
• Reduction in power cost through optimization of power consumption.
• Optimization of raw material.
• Reduction in RM cost through alternate sourcing, predictive maintenance for costly items.
• To improve the quality of product through technological improvements
• To review and update of Quality management systems; undertake improvement initiatives(if needed) in manufacturing process
• Implementation, review & monitoring of ISO 9001 : 2000, as per company guidelines
• To conduct monthly process audit in co-ordination with quality department to ensure the product are in quality
• To implement quality management systems to achieve production target yields.
• To monitor & implement SOP's for safety so as to build safe working environment by ensuring adherence to safety norms.

Qualifications : Diploma, B- Tech in any stream except Computer & IT

Experience : 8-12 years

Required Skills : Magentron Sputtering, Soft Coat, Coaters, Spur coated glass
