Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow professional specializing in Application Portfolio Management (APM) . The role involves implementing, configuring, and maintaining the APM module to help the organization gain visibility into its application landscape, reduce costs, optimize investments, and align IT with business capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and configure ServiceNow Application Portfolio Management (APM)

module.

Build and manage application portfolios, business capability maps, technology

portfolios, and lifecycle management within ServiceNow.

Integrate APM with CMDB, SAM, ITBM, and other ServiceNow modules .

Develop dashboards, scorecards, and reports to measure application health,

risk, cost, and compliance.

Conduct application rationalization workshops with business and IT

stakeholders.

Ensure data quality and governance in CMDB and application records.

Work with enterprise architects and IT leaders to align application portfolio

with business strategy.

Provide ongoing support, enhancements, and upgrades of the APM solution.

Document configurations, processes, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

3 to 8 years of ServiceNow platform experience , with APM module implementation.

Strong understanding of application lifecycle management, IT portfolio management, and enterprise architecture .

Experience with ServiceNow Studio, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.

Knowledge of integrating APM with CMDB, SAM, ITBM, and Discovery .

Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide, and ServiceNow scripting.

ServiceNow APM or CIS certification preferred.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Good to Have

Familiarity with frameworks like TOGAF or ITIL .

Experience in Agile / DevOps delivery model.

Knowledge of other ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, HRSD, or CSM.
