E-Commerce Trainer

Role Objective :

To train and mentor BBA students in practical aspects of e-commerce platforms like

Shopify

and

Amazon Seller Central , enabling them to develop entrepreneurial, managerial, and digital business skills relevant to modern online marketplaces.

Key Responsibilities :

Teaching & Training

Conduct lectures, workshops, and hands-on sessions on setting up and managing e-commerce stores on Shopify and Amazon.

Introduce students to product listing, inventory management, pricing strategies, and order fulfillment.

Teach best practices in e-commerce SEO, digital marketing, and customer service.

Curriculum Development

Design course content, case studies, and assignments focused on Shopify and Amazon business models.

Incorporate live projects, simulations, and practical learning tools.

Practical Exposure

Guide students in creating and managing demo Shopify stores and Amazon seller accounts.

Provide exposure to product research tools, competitor analysis, and sales tracking.

Industry Alignment

Train students in compliance, taxation, and policies related to e-commerce in India and globally.

Share insights on current e-commerce trends, challenges, and opportunities.

Mentoring & Projects

Supervise student projects related to e-commerce ventures.

Mentor students interested in pursuing careers or startups in e-commerce.

Key Skills & Competencies :

Strong knowledge of

Shopify

store setup, customization, and app integrations.

Proficiency in

Amazon Seller Central , including product listings, FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon), and advertising tools.

Understanding of

digital marketing

(SEO, SEM, social media, PPC campaigns).

Knowledge of

e-commerce analytics tools

(Google Analytics, Amazon analytics, Shopify reports).

Good communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.

Qualifications & Experience :

Master’s degree in Management, E-Commerce, Digital Marketing, or related field (preferred).

Certification or proven expertise in

Shopify & Amazon platforms .

Minimum 2–3 years of practical experience in managing e-commerce businesses or training.

Prior teaching or training experience in higher education (desirable).
