Job Summary :
We are looking for a skilled and certified Appian Developer to design, develop, and implement enterprise-level business process management (BPM) solutions using the Appian low-code platform.
The ideal candidate will have experience in building complex workflows, integrations, and user interfaces, with a strong understanding of BPM best practices and Agile development methodologies.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and develop Appian applications, interfaces, and workflows to support business requirements.
- Build scalable, reusable components and objects within the Appian platform.
- Implement complex process models, business rules, integrations, and user interfaces.
- Integrate Appian solutions with external systems using REST / SOAP APIs, databases, and other enterprise services.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and other stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in unit testing, system testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Optimize application performance and ensure high availability and reliability of solutions.
- Follow Appian and enterprise coding standards, governance, and deployment practices.
- Participate in Agile / Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance of existing Appian applications.
Technical Skills & Qualifications :
3 - 5+ years of experience in Appian application development.Certified Appian Associate Developer or higher (Preferred).Strong hands-on experience with :
Appian SAIL (Self-Assembling Interface Layer)Process Modeling, Records, Reports, Sites, and TasksAppian Smart ServicesAppian Plug-ins and Connected SystemsExperience with Appian Integration objects (REST, Web Services, RDBMS).Proficient in relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, and XML (beneficial but not mandatory).Familiarity with version control systems like Git and CI / CD practices.Understanding of BPM lifecycle, agile development, and DevOps concepts(ref : hirist.tech)
