Job Summary :

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Associate Director – Business Development to lead strategic sales initiatives across large enterprise clients, with a strong focus on Public Sector (PSUs) entities. This is a high-impact role for a seasoned professional with a proven track record in System Integration and IT Solutions Sales , capable of navigating complex procurement environments and influencing senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead Enterprise Sales Strategy : Drive business development efforts across large enterprise accounts with a focus on government and PSU sectors
  • Stakeholder Engagement : Build and nurture trusted relationships with senior bureaucrats, government officials and key decision-makers to influence buying decisions
  • Tender & Compliance Expertise : Navigate government procurement processes, tenders, and compliance frameworks with precision and foresight
  • Partner Ecosystem Management : Collaborate with OEMs and strategic partners to co-create winning go-to-market strategies and joint value propositions
  • Market Intelligence : Provide actionable insights on market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to shape business strategy
  • Bid Management : Work closely with internal teams to craft compelling proposals, RFP responses, and bid documentation that align with client expectations and compliance norms
  • Consultative Selling : Engage with consulting and advisory bodies to identify new opportunities and drive them to closure

Role Competency :

  • Experience : 10–12 years of total sales experience, with at least 5 years in enterprise sales targeting large accounts and PSU clients
  • Proven Track Record : Demonstrated success in closing large, complex deals in enterprise and public sector environments
  • Domain Expertise : Must have worked in a System Integration company with deep exposure to selling IT solutions to PSUs
  • Education : Engineering degree is required; MBA is preferred
  • Business Knowledge : Strong understanding of government procurement cycles, tendering processes, and contract management
  • Network : Established relationships with senior government officials and key OEMs
  • Skills : Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills. Strategic thinker with the ability to manage complex sales cycles and influence high-level stakeholders
