Systems Engineer - Presales

About the role :

As a Consulting Systems Engineer (CSE), you will be partnering with Client Executives / Client and Account Managers to provide the technical Pre-Sales work for customers across the country and Global Finance customers operating out of India. No two days will be the same as our broad offerings include Infrastructure Modernization, Multicloud Architecture, Network and Security Transformation, Digital Strategy and fast changing AI solution among others. What will you be doing?

The CSE role will bring technical Pre-Sales experience to our customers within the local market and as needed for India / Global customers on a need basis. Day-to-day responsibilities will include participation in customer sales meetings, presentations, white board sessions and custom technical design work among others. The Sr. CSE will team with local Client Managers to build customer relationships, partner with multiple OEM's and take part in technical training to provide continued value to the customers. Technical expertise expansion is highly encouraged as you look to learn about new areas of interest and be on the forefront of the cutting-edge technologies. This position will require the ability to travel up to :

• Act as Technical Pre-Sales and systems engineering supporting Modern DC Infrastructure Solutions including all combinations across (Enterprise Storage SAN / NAS / Object, Enterprise Compute, Converged and Hyperconverged, Virtualization, K8, Backup / Recovery, Networking, DC Build including Racks, power, cooling infra).
• Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs and use cases aligned to the company's GTM.
• Serve as the technical liaison to allocated client as Primary CSE aka PCSE (for assigned accounts) and Secondary CSE aka SCSE (for assigned domains) and align your efforts and activities to identify pain points and proactively create unsolicited solution proposals and / or respond to RFP / RFI as needed.
• Works with clients and the Sales team to obtain technical priorities, challenges, and initiatives that can be translated into opportunities including but not limited to participating in Account Planning Sessions.
• Responsible for the coordination, delivery, and quality of presales technology solution deliverables within the domain of the opportunity which may include items such as configurations, architectural diagrams, and proposals.
• Create HLD / Level of Effort Documents, participate in proof of concepts (POC / POV), create and validate Solution Bill of Materials, assist in generating Statements of Work.
• Develops and fosters relationships with strategic original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and partners (internal as well as external) in country / region and / or territory.
• Utilize OEM process and tools to do deal registrations, create an optimized BOQ, perform BOM validations in line with solution requirement, able to work with OEM / partners to demonstrate and defend the proposed solutions (objection handling).
• Ensures that proposed solutions, when implemented, meet the needs and functional requirements of the customer.

Required Experience And Skills (Must Have) :

stack sizing, best practice architecture(s) along with industry specific use case positioning.

understanding of DC solution stack from infra traversing through middleware, operating systems, containers, storage and compute including various modern DC Infra architectures.
