Scrum Master / Systems Analyst

This role will support a major Australian bank in delivering a scalable platform to identify potential risks and opportunities from a changing climate. The platform will enhance climate risk management through advanced modelling and geospatial capabilities, while enriching mandatory disclosure reporting.

Initial engagement will be for 9 to 12 months with a view to extend.

Objective

Facilitate agile delivery and ensure alignment of business requirements with technical solutions for the climate risk insights platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as Scrum Master for a single squad, facilitating agile rituals and fostering collaboration.
• Bridge business stakeholders and technical teams to capture, analyse, and translate requirements into actionable user stories.
• Support backlog refinement and prioritisation aligned with project objectives.
• Ensure delivery progress is tracked, risks are managed, and dependencies are resolved.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and data teams to validate functional and non-functional requirements.

Required Skillset

Experience

8–11 years in systems analysis and agile project delivery within large-scale enterprise environments, ideally in financial services or regulated industries.
