We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer to lead the development of a global Pay By Wallet platform, enabling seamless, tokenized transactions for digital wallets and A2A networks. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable services in Golang, deploying on cloud infrastructure, and ensuring high reliability, observability, and performance. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership to their squad, mentor engineers, and actively contribute to architecture and system design decisions. You will collaborate with product teams to deliver high-quality solutions, optimize workflows, and maintain robust monitoring and alerting practices. This fully remote position provides flexibility while contributing to a global, high-impact financial technology environment.

Accountabilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Golang-based applications supporting the Pay By Wallet API suite.
• Lead technical decision-making for your squad, balancing technical debt, system design, reliability, and business requirements.
• Mentor and sponsor other engineers, providing guidance, constructive feedback, and promoting best practices.
• Manage infrastructure using Terraform and other infrastructure-as-code tools to provision and maintain cloud resources.
• Monitor applications through logs and metrics to ensure stability and performance.
• Participate in technical analysis and collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into robust solutions.
• Ensure adherence to high standards for code quality, testing, observability, and documentation.
