Value Analysis / Value Engineering (VA / VE) – Tooling Engineer ( 4 positions)
Experience : 5+ years (Hands-on in precision tooling and die development)
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Hyderabad for the VA / VE (Value Analysis / Value Engineering) Engineer position. The VA / VE Engineer will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and troubleshooting value-added opportunities spanning product design, cost optimization, and operational efficiency. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance overall product and process efficiency is an integral part of the role.
Core Expertise :
Design & development of Tools & Dies for
Stampings & Sheet Metal
Pressure Die Casting (PDC) / Sand Castings
Plastic Injection Molds and allied tooling systems
Proven ability to optimize cost, cycle time & manufacturability through VA / VE techniques
Technical Skills :
Design & Simulation Tools : CREO, Mastercam, Moldflow
Quality & Process Tools : PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan
Data & Analysis : Advanced MS Excel for cost modeling and process tracking
Preferred Background :
Diploma / Graduate from NTTF, GTTC, or equivalent Tool Engineering institutions
Strong foundation in Tool Design, CAM Programming, and Manufacturing Processes
Prior experience with Machine Tool Builders or OEMs
Proven record in VA / VE initiatives to optimize cost, performance, and manufacturability
Design & development of Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems for machine tools
Integration of machine tool accessories, peripherals, and machine control units
Hands-on work with system schematics, valves, cylinders, pumps, and automation modules
